Summary:
The Director Pharmacy will be the organization's pharmacy subject matter expert identify and develop strategic partnerships and implement all internal and external pharmacy initiativesAdditionally this role will collaborate with the larger Population Health leadership team to assist with high-impact initiativesThis role will have responsibility for the management of the day-to-day operations and driving productivity within our clinical manufacturing pharmacy environment.

Accountability for all operations within the onsite Pharmacy facility including driving production metricsActively participates in performance management for all onsite leaders and associatesManagement and maintenance of morale and culture with pharmacyDevelops insights on how SelectRx can innovate leverages deep knowledge of the current pharmacy landscape and includes emerging trends headwinds and the innovative business models that are breaking throughActively participates in business development efforts as the in-house subject matter pharmacy expert and thought leaderActs as internal liaison to pharmacy partners and businessesPartners with business leaders before during and after onboarding strategic accounts to ensure they are integrated smoothly and fully optimizedMaintains regular communication with all partners to review performance sets clear expectations and evaluate growth opportunitiesSupports SelectQuote's strategic healthcare and pharmacy growth strategy through identification assessment and execution of strategic initiativesSkills/Abilities:
Ability to work onsite a minimum of 80% of the timeMust possess the ability to work with automated prescription systemsMaintains proficiency in pharmacy computer systems and medication ordering systemsPossesses good organizational and time-management skillsDemonstrates appropriate written and oral communication skillsHigh degree of interpersonal and organizational skillsAbility to effectively interact with all levels of management associates clients and general publicStrong problem-solving skills and ability to implement changes rapidly that positively impact marketing performanceExcellent oral and written communication skillsStrong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitaskHighly motivated resourceful and self-directedAbility to be detailed oriented while seeing trends themes and macro-impactsProficiency in reading writing and speaking English is requiredEducation and
Experience:
Doctor of Pharmacy preferred10
years' experience in pharmacy industry or related fields2
years' management experienceClinical Manufacturing experience highly preferredMaintains expert level knowledge and expertise around Pharmacy related regulations market updates and trendsMaintenance of multiple state PIC licenses preferredUnderstands confidentiality regarding patient medications and illnesses (HIPPA)Requirements:
Work is performed indoors with potential for exposure to safety and health hazards related to office workCould periodically travel to other office and operational sitesThe noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
