Candidate must be comfortable handling multiple phone lines and have strong customer service skills.
This position requires multitasking, a sensitivity to confidentiality, and a professional demeanor.
Requirements:
Experience directing calls on a multiple line phone system.
Good written and verbal communication skills for interacting with insurance companies, patients, providers, and co-workers Verification and updating of patient insurance coverage and demographics using electronic medical record.
Experience using the internet and several system/applications Detailed oriented and have the ability to identify trends and to report them in a clear and concise manner to the leadership team.
Prior experience with medical offices and electronic medical record preferred.
