There will be a 180 day probationary period.
The position will be working directly with and reporting to the Senior Partner to the Law Firm.
You will be expected to hit the ground running from day one.
After the probationary period is complete; the Candidate will have the opportunity to move to a full time salaried position and receive benefits.
The Qualified Candidate will be able to demonstrate the capacity to manage cases within a cloud bases case-management system.
The Qualified Candidate will be able to demonstrate experience managing assignments and delegating assignments as requested.
The Qualified Candidate must be able to draft and outline Civil Pleadings and be able to assist in Motion Practice, File Pleadings; Create Exhibits; Research Cases and Case Law; write Memoranda and provide case summaries; complete intake interviews with potential clients; and be familiar with the Lexis Nexis platform; The Qualified Candidate will have a paralegal certificate or the equivalent in work experience.
The Qualified Candidate must be able to work with a cloud computing; The Qualified Candidate must be able to engage with clients and manage case files; The Qualified Candidate must be able to work independently or in a team setting; The Qualified Candidate must have worked in a law firm within the last five years; The Qualified Candidate must be proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite; The Qualified Candidate must have access to transportation; The Qualified Candidate must have an active drivers license; Work Remotely This is a hybrid position that will allow for in-office and remote work capability Job Types:
