Asset Information Manager

Job Description The purpose of the Asset Information Manager role is to coordinate all the information management activities in relation to managing the asset.   Information management is the identification, optimization, custodianship and connection of information and information-intensive processes to innovate, achieve competitive advantages and generate business and customer value.   The integrated management of information and data across theAsset's management activities, improves bottom-line value by ensuring theAssethas reliable and correct information & data and enabling improvement through: executing efficient business processes using accurate, complete and trusted information saving time and rework. providing better and new insights into the operational and maintenance requirements of the Asset and supporting the improvement of process safety, Asset integrity and reliability by applying analytics and advanced analytics. ensuring better decisions are made regarding operational and maintenance expenditure based on actual Asset performance and status through improved management information from fit-for-purpose data platforms (e.g. data warehouse, data lakes). improving organizational and strategic planning from more complete and accurate Asset information. improving information quality as a result of automation enabling an increased amount of verification. The Asset Information Manager works closely with the asset teams and the project teams for understanding the information & data requirements and aligning these with business planning. The Asset Information Manager works also closely with IT to ensure the IT systems support the information & data requirements.   Dimensions:   TheAsset Information Manager will implement all the Information Management activities as defined in theAssetManagement System - Manage Information, Data and Systems recommended practice: Agrees with process owners and disciplines what information is needed, what information is deemed critical, where the accountability and ownership of the information lies, and determines where the master data is stored. Supports the control of data and documents, the Asset Information Manager collaborates with data value owners, application super users and the Asset IT Manager to create specifications of what information is required, in what format, how that information will be controlled (by procedures) and in what systems. He will reference the relevant information management procedures in the Asset's processes and procedures as documented in the local management system. He will also define data and information quality requirements as part of their information specifications, such as completeness, accuracy, timeliness, consistency and integrity. Develops and review annually an information management plan (IM Plan) aligned with the strategic Asset management plan and medium-term plans to provide a one, two and five-year look-ahead. Specifies information requirements to the Asset's vendors, suppliers, contractors and other Shell entities working closely with the contracting and procurement department. Monitors the execution of the IM Plan and training plan (as included in the IM plan) by the application super users to ensure that users are trained in the use of the information management practices, including records management and the applications. Assigns Data Governance Roles - The Asset Information Manager works with process owners to assign staff to the data governance roles. In consultation with the data value owners, the Asset Information Manager implements data quality metrics. Bachelor's Degree required. Minimum twelve (12) years' experience on technical data management with solid knowledge of how information management aspects are managed and applied. Proven expertise in using data platforms required. Comprehensive understanding of core asset management (AMS, ISO55000/1/2) and engineering project management processes (PMF) required. Knowledge of Data Governance Roles required. Experience in developing information specifications and information management scopes of work for contracts for integrated service contractors or with EPC contractors. Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills in order to deal with a large number of (senior) stakeholders. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
